Don Kichot

During this exhibition, a story about Don Quixote's contemporary fate, scattered throughout the space, will be shown on several monitors. The knight of the sad face, described in the pages of Cervantes' novel published at the beginning of the 17th century, has become a hero permanently inhabiting our culture, a symbol of being entangled in a tangle of real and imagined matters, crazy impulses and deep disappointments.

Accompanying event:
15/05/2024, 17:00 – lecture by Mieke Bal "Multi-tentacled Time: On Urgency" combined with the screening of the film "It's About Time! Reflections on Urgency” at the Oratorium Marianum in the Main Building of the University of WrocÅ‚aw.
